The Brief
The Grand Cliff Top Walk is a 20 km walking track that links Wentworth Falls Station to Scenic World, Katoomba in the Blue Mountains National Park. The track hugs the edge of the escarpment, passing through Echo Point and the iconic Three Sisters, with extensive views across the Jamison and Kedumba Valleys.
Part of the biggest investment in Park visitor infrastructure in NSW history, the project to restore and link the historic tracks, creating a world-class walking experience, brings with it many challenges, with myriad stakeholders.
A video communication piece was required to share the stories of these challenges and inform the community and other stakeholders about the key messages, bringing them along on the journey together, build momentum for the final opening in 2023.
Juicy Projects did a deep dive into the ‘why’ and ‘how’ of the three-year project, bringing out a variety of touchpoints, that tell the story from the perspective of the track builders and their historic legacy, local businesses, local residents and passionate bush-regenerators and environmentalists.
