The Brief

Carnival Australia is passionate about ensuring that the communities their ships visit receive appropriate economic benefits. Whilst short term benefits such as the payment of port fees is part of this, they’re also interested in long-term benefits to communities through health and education programs.

They worked with the Enterprise Challenge Fund, sponsored by AusAid. This public-private partnership provided business and economic mentorship to locals, helping them to get the best tourism outcomes for themselves and their communities.

This mini-documentary looked at the outcomes of the project from the perspective of the communities and Carnival Australia.
